AIR Recognizing Child Abuse Initial Course

AIR’s approved course for the recognition of child abuse and neglect is designed to teach the various types of child abuse and how to recognize the physical and behavior indicators.   We will also teach you the procedures for how to report suspected abuse, understand social services procedures, and to promote resiliency in children.   This course is offered as both the full initial six hour training as well as the three hour refresher.  This course is ODJFS approved.

• Courses must be taken within the first 120 days after purchase. This includes in-person skills assessment if you have purchased a blended course. After 120 days, courses will expire. No extensions will be given.
