AIR Recognizing Child Abuse (Initial or Refresher)

AIR’s ODE and ODJFS approved and verified course for the recognition of child abuse and neglect is designed to teach the various types of child abuse and how to recognize the physical and behavior indicators.   We will also teach you the procedures for how to report suspected abuse, understand social services procedures, and to promote resiliency in children. This course is ODE and ODJFS approved.

• Certification good for 3 years.
• You must have proof of your initial certification to take the refresher course.
• This course contains closed captioning options.
• Don’t have time to take the course all at once….Start, stop, and resume where you left off.
• Courses must be taken within the first 120 days after purchase. This includes in-person skills assessment if you have purchased a blended course. If you fail to complete the course before the expiration date, a $15 course reinstatement fee can be purchased for a two-week course extension. Please contact customer service for this option.
