Effective communication is one of the most important social skills. Communication is more than just talking. Participants will discuss the three aspects of communication: talking, listening and body language. Interactive activities will be presented to help the participants understand their own communication style. Learn about child development and why some children have difficulty in developing effective communication skills. Participants will gain strategies and specific activities to use in their setting when designing the temporal, physical, and interpersonal environments to support children in becoming effective communicators.
- Courses must be taken within the first 120 days after purchase. This includes in-person skills assessment if you have purchased a blended course.
