Having interest areas that capture children's curiosity and keep them actively engaged during open classroom time not only extends learning times but will lesson behavior problems. Intentional planning and facilitating effective areas that have authentic mathematics, science, and language experiences in the dramatic play area, art area, water and sand play area, etc. is the focus of this session. Learning through play will be emphasized and the teacher's role in that will be analyzed.
