AIR Communicable Disease (Initial or Refresher)

AIR's ODJFS and ODE approved and verified course will bring you the helpful and required information to help you prevent and control the spread of disease in your Center. The information provided in this course is from the ODJFS Handbook on Common Childhood Illnesses for Child Care Centers.  This course is ODE and ODJFS approved and is offered as either the six hour initial course or the three hour refresher. Course Certificate available immediately upon course completion.

• Certification good for 3 years.
• You must have proof of your initial certification to take the refresher course.
• This course contains closed captioning options.
• Don’t have time to take the course all at once….Start, stop, and resume where you left off.
• Courses must be taken within the first 120 days after purchase. This includes in-person skills assessment if you have purchased a blended course. If you fail to complete the course before the expiration date, a $15 course reinstatement fee can be purchased for a two-week course extension. Please contact customer service for this option.
