When given opportunities to use expressive language in telling their own stories, children develop and expand their language and vocabulary skills. This lays a foundation for proficient reading and writing. Adding dramatization helps children see their own words “brought to life”. This session is all about collecting the stories that children tell and using those stories to develop print connection, oral language and creative expression.
