Working with families is as much a part of our jobs as working with children. Our students and our schools are best served when parents and families are connected to the type of learning that happens in your classrooms. With clearer understandings of why we do what we do, parents are more likely to become knowledgeable partners and invaluable resources rather than obstacles, critics or adversaries. It takes a village to help our kids thrive in school and it is up to us as educators to welcome our parents and families into that village. This course will focus on the importance of healthy, productive family teacher partnerships and effective strategies for building and sustaining them.
- Courses must be taken within the first 120 days after purchase. This includes in-person skills assessment if you have purchased a blended course. After 120 days, courses will expire. No extensions will be given.
