Wyoming Childcare Training Tools

While there are many great tools available to childcare professionals, here’s two that we’ve found to be very useful.

The ‘Training Calendar’ tab in Wyoming STARS allows users to search for trainings using specific filters. Users can look through the training calendar filtering by core knowledge areas, course title, course level, course description, and so much more.

My Goals  in Wyoming STARS allows users to set professional development goals. These goals can help move participants up the career ladder.

How many training hours are needed?

According to the Wyoming Department of Family Services Administrative Rules for Certification of Child Care Facilities, any staff member who provides direct care to children for 24 hours or more per month shall complete a minimum of 16 training credits annually.
