Understanding Oppositional Defiant Disorder

It’s not uncommon to work with children who exhibit some behaviors we don’t understand and might even frighten us. Not all children know how to communicate their needs effectively, resulting in behavioral outbursts. Oppositional Defiant Disorder is most often a biproduct of another condition that may or may not have been identified or regulated yet. This course will give you some insight into the cause of these behaviors, what signs to look for, build your empathy and awareness skills, and teach you how to regulate these behaviors effectively and efficiently.

• Courses must be taken within the first 120 days after purchase. This includes in-person skills assessment if you have purchased a blended course. After 120 days, courses will expire. No extensions will be given.
