Infant/toddler classrooms provide excellent opportunities for infants and toddlers to hear oral language, sounds, songs, and finger plays as teachers intentionally embed vocabulary, phonological awareness, oral comprehension and more into everyday play and routines. This session will focus on what is needed to build quality language and literacy skills for infants and toddlers along with strategies on how to plan, implement, and reflect on those strategies.
